         FINAL DAY…Magical savings continue Saturday, Aug. 22, at The Party Fairy — and we’re closing shop afterward, so don’t delay.          Every item in our store is ON SALE. Most of our items are now 60 percent off the price on the tag, including our TY Girlz dolls and their outfits.  Many items are 80 percent off! Our gorgeous princess dresses will be 20 percent off.  Sidewalk tables hold many items for 25 cents and 50 cents!

          In addition, MISS HATTIE’S TEA CABINET is on sale now for just $200.  Her teacup chandeliers are marked down to just $14.99, sold as is, with no boxes. Even the changing table from our bathroom is on sale — a great deal at just $40.

           This is your chance to purchase a Fairy Teapot, too, just like the one the Fairy Godmother uses to serve tea! (The fun little purple teapot with the star on top.) What a keepsake for a lucky little girl enchanted by her Party Fairy experiences.  The teapot price is $25.

         OUR LOCATION:  We’re in Midlothian,  very near the intersection of 288 and the Powhite Parkway, making us convenient to most of Richmond. Our address is 13566 Waterford Place, Midlothian, 23112. If you take Powhite Parkway South to get to us, follow it all the way to the end. If you take 288 North or South to get to us,  take the Powhite Parkway South exit (also marked as Old Hundred Road.) The Powhite will end almost immediately. You will know the toll road has ended when you suddenly come upon a stoplight intersection. Turn LEFT onto Charter Colony Parkway at this stoplight.  Our shopping center is located on the LEFT after the next stoplight. Turn LEFT beside the pond and waterfall when you see the Waterford sign in a large, open field, and take an immediate right onto Waterford Place to access our shopping center.

This special Tea Party and dance session is one of our most popular events, featuring a chance to dance with the doll.  Next planned for June 28. CHEERLEADING WORKSHOPS.  Know a little girl who loves cheerleading? We have the perfect event for her. Our Cheerleading Workshops feature an hour of instruction in cheering routines and a bit of tumbling by Clover Hill High School Cheerleaders (as always, we provide adult supervision during this workshop!) followed by a sweet little Tea party in Miss Hattie’s cottage.   Want to see photos? Click on the small image at left to see pictures.  We’re offering an extended version of this workshop on Friday, August 7, when we’ll featuring Cheerleading Night at The Party Fairy. Includes a cheese pizza dinner and dessert at the Tea Party.

THE ART FAIRY IS COMING FOR A VISIT! The Party Fairy is teaming up with Art Adventures to present an absolutely enchanting art workshop on Wednesday, July 1.  Children will create a painting and a clay sculpture of a woodland animal during this fantastic program, which features a Tea Party, too.  

PIXIE CAMP — July 8,9 and 10. Three exciting days of being a Fairy! Hours 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Cost $200.  Deposit of $50 required, or save $5 by paying in full when registering. 

 PRINCESS ACADEMY – Three exciting days of being a Princess! Hours 9 a.m until 1 p.m. Cost $200; deposit of $50 required when registering or save $5 by paying in full.  

PASTRY CHEF TIPS AND TECHNIQUES: Learn the secrets of cake decorating at this fun workshop for ages 7 and up.  Learn how to use a pastry bag to pipe decorative trim and flowers on cookies, cupcakes, cakes and more to reate edible art! Includes a cake decorating kit for each participant to take home.  $18.99 per child.  (If your cake decorator is having a birthday soon, be sure to click on Cake Decorating Party in the menu at right, to read about our special pricing on our newest party!) Will be offered again in August.

Come in for Free Fairy Games on weekdays

Come in and play board games with our fairies!

          Join us on certain weekday afternoons, by advance reservation only, to meet our fairy twins and play some of their favorite board games, put together puzzles, and have a delightful little play session free of charge.  Our fairies will be available for play sessions beteen 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. There’s no cost, but space is limited so you will need to call the store at 744-6963 to let us know you’re coming. Recommended for ages 4 and up.  Parents will need to remain at the store while children play with our fairies. Unlike our paid events, adult supervision will not be provided; our teen-age fairies will run this free activity.

      Think pink, with sparkles and tulle, jewelry and make-up, fairy dancing, wings and wands, whirly-twirly skirts and the Fairy Queen’s Treasure. Our Fairy Party To Go is an enchanting and easy way for you to stage your own party at home. We’ve done all the planning, shopping, counting, sorting and packaging for you. New at The Party Fairy Store

                 EXCITING NEW TEA PARTIES: Miss Hattie’s cottage tea room evokes fond memories for many who see it. Mothers and grandmothers smile at the whimsical teacup chandeliers, the Tea Cabinet in the corner, the hats and dolls decorating the room. “Do you do tea parties for adults, too?” they ask us. “I want one!” Well, here’s your chance.  Afternoon Tea in Miss Hattie’s Cottage is offered by reservation only.  We hope mothers, daughters and granddaughters in the Richmond area will come to enjoy tea sandwiches and savories, muffins and scones with jam and other traditional tea party fare while our costumed Miss Hattie shares some tea party etiquette, history and traditions. Each tea party will end with a chance for the children to visit a secret treasure hideaway in Miss Hattie’s garden. This is Richmond’s most enchanting tea party!

       Other fun activities planned for the fall include Miss Hattie’s Preschool Tea Parties, which will be offered at lunchtime on many Thursdays. As the name implies, these events will specifically target ages 3-5. They’ll feature child-friendly tea sandwiches, fruit, dessert, storytime, a brief manners lesson and a visit to a secret treasure room in Miss Hattie’s garden. Since this event is specifically for preschoolers, we’ll offer plenty of child-friendly tea sandwiches, too! 

     ETIQUETTE CLASSES: Our newest session begins Saturday, October 11. Classes target ages 4-8.

     JOIN US FOR A LUNCHTIME FAIRY PICNIC!  Many of you have emailed this year to get our Fairy Picnic schedule, and learned that we schedule picnics around parties — but as this activity grows in popularity, we’ve decided to give it a regular place on our weekday calendar this fall.  We’ll provide the fairy, the boxed meal and the makeover on many Wednesdays. Just give us a call in advance to let us know you’re coming.

The fairies loved playing with you!

Our fairies slept until long past noon on June 25, because their poor little feet were all worn out from a full day of dancing with you during  our June 24 International Fairy Day celebration.  Shimmer, Glimmer and the Blue Rose Fairy couldn’t stop talking about YOU, and how much fun they had playing with you. You looked beautiful in your fairy wings, dancing in Miss Hattie’s garden. Miss Hattie also had a wonderful time serving her cookies and magical Fairy Tea when you visited her cottage.  We all hope you will be back soon for more fun at The Party Fairy Store.
